Then Jehovah said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name; I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake I unto them: they prophesy unto you a lying vision, and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their own heart.

Then the Lord said to me, The prophets say false words in my name, and I gave them no orders, and I said nothing to them: what they say to you is a false vision and wonder-working words without substance, the deceit of their hearts.

Και ειπε Κυριος προς εμε, Ψευδη προφητευουσιν οι προφηται εν τω ονοματι μου· εγω δεν απεστειλα αυτους ουδε προσεταξα εις αυτους ουδε ελαλησα προς αυτους· αυτοι προφητευουσιν εις εσας ορασιν ψευδη και μαντειαν και ματαιοτητα και την δολιοτητα της καρδιας αυτων.
