And every living thing was destroyed that was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and creeping things, and birds of the heavens; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only was left, and they that were with him in the ark.

Every living thing on the face of all the earth, man and cattle and things moving on the face of the earth, and birds of the air, came to destruction: only Noah and those who were with him in the ark, were kept from death.

Και εξηλειφθη παν το υπαρχον επι του προσωπου της γης, απο ανθρωπου εως κτηνους, εως ερπετου και εως πτηνου του ουρανου, και εξηλειφθησαν απο της γης· εμενε δε μονον ο Νωε, και οσα ησαν μετ' αυτου εν τη κιβωτω.

And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.
