And the men of Kiriath-jearim came, and fetched up the ark of Jehovah, and brought it into the house of Abinadab in the hill, and sanctified Eleazar his son to keep the ark of Jehovah.

So the men of Kiriath-jearim came and took the ark of the Lord to the house of Abinadab in Gibeah, and they made his son Eleazar holy and put the ark in his care.

Και ηλθον οι ανδρες της Κιριαθ-ιαρειμ, και ανεβιβασαν την κιβωτον του Κυριου και εφεραν αυτην εις τον οικον του Αβιναδαβ επι τον λοφον, και Ελεαζαρ τον υιον αυτου καθιερωσαν, δια να φυλαττη την κιβωτον του Κυριου.
