And the people were as murmurers, speaking evil in the ears of Jehovah: and when Jehovah heard it, his anger was kindled; and the fire of Jehovah burnt among them, and devoured in the uttermost part of the camp.

Now the people were saying evil against the Lord; and the Lord, hearing it, was angry and sent fire on them, burning the outer parts of the tent-circle.

Και εγογγυζεν ο λαος πονηρα εις τα ωτα του Κυριου· και ο Κυριος ηκουσε και εξηφθη η οργη αυτου· και εξεκαυθη μεταξυ αυτων πυρ Κυριου και κατεφαγε το ακρον του στρατοπεδου.

And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord: and the Lord heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the Lord burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.
