In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou didst hide these things from the wise and understanding, and didst reveal them unto babes: yea, Father; for so it was well-pleasing in thy sight.

In that same hour he was full of joy in the Holy Spirit and said, I give praise to you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have kept these things secret from the wise and the men of learning, and have made them clear to little children: for so, O Father, it was pleasing in your eyes.

Εν αυτη τη ωρα ηγαλλιασθη κατα το πνευμα ο Ιησους και ειπεν· Ευχαριστω σοι, Πατερ, Κυριε του ουρανου και της γης, οτι απεκρυψας ταυτα απο σοφων και συνετων και απεκαλυψας αυτα εις νηπια· ναι, ω Πατερ, διοτι ουτως εγεινεν αρεστον εμπροσθεν σου.

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
