But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: because thy supplication is heard, and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.

But the angel said, Have no fear, Zacharias, for your prayer has come to the ears of God, and your wife Elisabeth will have a son, and his name will be John.

Ειπε δε προς αυτον ο αγγελος· Μη φοβου, Ζαχαρια· διοτι εισηκουσθη η δεησις σου, και η γυνη σου Ελισαβετ θελει γεννησει υιον εις σε, και θελεις καλεσει το ονομα αυτου Ιωαννην.
