that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am Jehovah your God.

So that future generations may keep in mind how I gave the children of Israel tents as their living-places when I took them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

δια να γνωρισωσιν αι γενεαι σας οτι εν σκηναις κατωκισα τους υιους Ισραηλ, οτε εξηγαγον αυτους εκ γης Αιγυπτου· εγω Κυριος ο Θεος σας.
