Αλλ' ητο πυργος ισχυρος εν τω μεσω της πολεως, και κατεφυγον εκει παντες οι ανδρες και αι γυναικες και παντες οι κατοικοι της πολεως, και εκλεισαν οπισθεν αυτων και ανεβησαν εις το δωμα του πυργου.
