Και εταπεινωθη ο Μαδιαμ εμπροσθεν των υιων Ισραηλ, και δεν εσηκωσε πλεον την κεφαλην αυτου. Και ανεπαυθη η γη τεσσαρακοντα ετη εν ταις ημεραις του Γεδεων.
