And his fellow answered and said, This is nothing else save the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel: into his hand God hath delivered Midian, and all the host.

And his friend in answer said, This is certainly the sword of Gideon, the son of Joash, the men of Israel: into their hands God has given up all the army of Midian.

Και απεκριθη ο πλησιον αυτου και ειπε, Τουτο δεν ειναι, ειμη η ρομφαια του Γεδεων, υιου του Ιωας, ανδρος Ισραηλιτου· ο Θεος παρεδωκεν εις την χειρα αυτου τον Μαδιαμ και απαν το στρατοπεδον.
