behold, I will put a fleece of wool on the threshing-floor; if there be dew on the fleece only, and it be dry upon all the ground, then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by my hand, as thou hast spoken.

See, I will put the wool of a sheep on the grain-floor; if there is dew on the wool only, while all the earth is dry, then I will be certain that it is your purpose to give Israel salvation by my hand as you have said.

ιδου, εγω θελω βαλει τον ποκον του μαλλιου εις το αλωνιον· εαν γεινη δροσος μονον επι τον ποκον, εφ' ολην δε την γην ξηρασια, τοτε θελω γνωρισει οτι θελεις σωσει δια χειρος μου τον Ισραηλ, καθως ελαλησας.
