and they took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and the king thereof, and all the cities thereof, and all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining, according to all that he had done to Eglon; but he utterly destroyed it, and all the souls that were therein.

And took it, overcoming it and putting it and its king and its towns and every person in it to the sword: as he had done to Eglon, he put them all to death, and gave it up to the curse with every person in it.

και εκυριευσαν αυτην και επαταξαν εν στοματι μαχαιρας αυτην και τον βασιλεα αυτης και πασας τας πολεις αυτης και πασας τας ψυχας τας εν αυτη· δεν αφηκεν υπολοιπον· κατα παντα οσα εκαμεν εις την Εγλων· και εξωλοθρευσεν αυτην και πασας τας ψυχας τας εν αυτη.
