Therefore thus saith Jehovah, Behold, I will lay stumbling-blocks before this people; and the fathers and the sons together shall stumble against them; the neighbor and his friend shall perish.

For this reason the Lord has said, See, I will put stones in the way of this people: and the fathers and the sons together will go falling over them; the neighbour and his friend will come to destruction.

Δια τουτο ουτω λεγει Κυριος· Ιδου, εγω θελω βαλει προσκομματα εμπροσθεν του λαου τουτου και οι πατερες και οι υιοι ομου θελουσι προσκοψει επ' αυτα, ο γειτων και ο φιλος αυτου θελουσιν απολεσθη.
