and Jehovah hath brought it, and done according as he spake: because ye have sinned against Jehovah, and have not obeyed his voice, therefore this thing is come upon you.

*** and the Lord has made it come, and has done as he said; because of your sin against the Lord in not giving ear to his voice; and that is why this thing has come on you.

Και επεφερεν αυτα ο Κυριος και εκαμε καθως ειπεν· επειδη ημαρτησατε εις τον Κυριον και δεν υπηκουσατε εις την φωνην αυτου, δια τουτο εγεινεν εις εσας το πραγμα τουτο.
