Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir-tree; and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle-tree: and it shall be to Jehovah for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.

In place of the thorn will come up the fir-tree, and in place of the blackberry the myrtle: and it will be to the Lord for a name, for an eternal sign which will not be cut off.

Αντι της ακανθης θελει αναβη κυπαρισσος, αντι της κνιδης θελει αναβη μυρσινη· και τουτο θελει εισθαι εις τον Κυριον δια ονομα, δια σημειον αιωνιον, το οποιον δεν θελει εκλειψει.
