And Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing wherewith his father blessed him: and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then will I slay my brother Jacob.

So Esau was full of hate for Jacob because of his father's blessing; and he said in his heart, The days of weeping for my father are near; then I will put my brother Jacob to death.

Και εμισει ο Ησαυ τον Ιακωβ, δια την ευλογιαν με την οποιαν ευλογησεν αυτον ο πατηρ αυτου· και ειπεν ο Ησαυ εν τη καρδια αυτου, Πλησιαζουσιν αι ημεραι του πενθους του πατρος μου· τοτε θελω φονευσει Ιακωβ τον αδελφον μου.
