and they saw the God of Israel; and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, and as it were the very heaven for clearness.

And they saw the God of Israel; and under his feet there was, as it seemed, a jewelled floor, clear as the heavens.

και ειδον τον Θεον του Ισραηλ· και υπο τους ποδας αυτου ως εδαφος εστρωμενον εκ λιθου σαπφειρου και ως το στερεωμα του ουρανου κατα την καθαροτητα·

And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.
