Honor thy father and thy mother, as Jehovah thy God commanded thee; that thy days may be long, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee.

Give honour to your father and your mother, as you have been ordered by the Lord your God; so that your life may be long and all may be well for you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

Τιμα τον πατερα σου και την μητερα σου, καθως προσεταξεν εις σε Κυριος ο Θεος σου· δια να γεινης μακροχρονιος και δια να ευημερης επι της γης, την οποιαν διδει εις σε Κυριος ο Θεος σου.
