And he changeth the times and the seasons; he removeth kings, and setteth up kings; he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that have understanding;

By him times and years are changed: by him kings are taken away and kings are lifted up: he gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to those whose minds are awake:

και αυτος μεταβαλλει τους καιρους και τους χρονους· καθαιρει βασιλεις και καθιστα βασιλεις· διδει σοφιαν εις τους σοφους και γνωσιν εις τους συνετους.
