Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus; and the Syrians became servants to David, and brought tribute. And Jehovah gave victory to David whithersoever he went.

And David put armed forces in Aram of Damascus: and the Aramaeans became servants to David and gave him offerings. And the Lord made David overcome wherever he went.

Και εβαλεν ο Δαβιδ φρουρας εν τη Συρια της Δαμασκου· και οι Συριοι εγειναν δουλοι υποτελεις του Δαβιδ. Και εσωζεν ο Κυριος τον Δαβιδ πανταχου, οπου επορευετο.
