And it was so, as the ark of Jehovah came into the city of David, that Michal the daughter of Saul looked out at the window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before Jehovah; and she despised him in her heart.

And when the ark of the Lord came into the town of David, Michal, Saul's daughter, looking out of the window, saw King David dancing and jumping before the Lord; and to her mind he seemed foolish.

Ενω δε η κιβωτος του Κυριου εισηρχετο εις την πολιν Δαβιδ, Μιχαλ, η θυγατηρ του Σαουλ, εκυψε δια της θυριδος, και ιδουσα τον βασιλεα Δαβιδ ορχουμενον και χορευοντα ενωπιον του Κυριου, εξουδενωσεν αυτον εν τη καρδια αυτης.
