Και ηλθον παντες οι πρεσβυτεροι του Ισραηλ προς τον βασιλεα εις Χεβρων· και εκαμεν ο βασιλευς Δαβιδ συνθηκην μετ' αυτων εις Χεβρων ενωπιον του Κυριου· και εχρισαν τον Δαβιδ βασιλεα επι τον Ισραηλ.
