When Joab and all the host that was with him were come, they told Joab, saying, Abner the son of Ner came to the king, and he hath sent him away, and he is gone in peace.

When Joab and his men came, news was given them that Abner, the son of Ner, had come to the king, who had let him go away again in peace.

Οτε δε ηλθεν ο Ιωαβ και απαν το στρατευμα το μετ' αυτου, απηγγειλαν προς τον Ιωαβ, λεγοντες, Αβενηρ ο υιος του Νηρ ηλθε προς τον βασιλεα, και εξαπεστειλεν αυτον και ανεχωρησεν εν ειρηνη.
