then hear thou from heaven, even from thy dwelling-place, and do according to all that the foreigner calleth to thee for; that all the peoples of the earth may know thy name, and fear thee, as doth thy people Israel, and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by thy name.

Then give ear from heaven your living-place, and give him his desire, whatever it may be; so that all the peoples of the earth may have knowledge of your name, worshipping you as do your people Israel, and may see that this house which I have made is truly named by your name.

τοτε συ επακουσον εκ του ουρανου, εκ του τοπου της κατοικησεως σου, και καμε κατα παντα περι οσων ο ξενος σε επικαλεσθη, δια να γνωρισωσι παντες οι λαοι της γης το ονομα σου και να σε φοβωνται, καθως ο λαος σου ο Ισραηλ, και δια να γνωρισωσιν οτι το ονομα σου εκληθη επι τον οικον τουτον, τον οποιον ωκοδομησα.
