And sometimes the cloud was from evening until morning; and when the cloud was taken up in the morning, they journeyed: or if it continued by day and by night, when the cloud was taken up, they journeyed.

And sometimes the cloud was there only from evening to morning; and when the cloud was taken up in the morning they went on their journey again: or if it was resting there by day and by night, whenever the cloud was taken up they went forward.

Οποτε δε η νεφελη ιστατο απο εσπερας εως πρωι, το δε πρωι ανεβαινεν η νεφελη, τοτε αυτοι εσηκονοντο· ειτε την ημεραν ειτε την νυκτα ανεβαινεν η νεφελη, τοτε αυτοι εσηκονοντο.

And so it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and that the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether it was by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed.
