And Israel abode in Shittim; and the people began to play the harlot with the daughters of Moab:

Now when Israel was living in Shittim the people became false to the Lord, doing evil with the daughters of Moab:

Και εμεινεν ο Ισραηλ εν Σιττειμ· και ηρχισεν ο λαος να πορνευη μετα των θυγατερων Μωαβ·

And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab.
