And they found among the inhabitants of Jabesh-gilead four hundred young virgins, that had not known man by lying with him; and they brought them unto the camp to Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan.

Now there were among the people of Jabesh-gilead four hundred young virgins who had never had sex relations with a man; these they took to their tents in Shiloh in the land of Canaan.

Και ευρηκαν μεταξυ των κατοικων της Ιαβεις-γαλααδ τετρακοσιας νεας παρθενους, αιτινες δεν ειχον γνωρισει ανδρα εν κοιτη αρσενικου· και εφεραν αυτας προς το στρατοπεδον εις Σηλω, ητις ειναι εν γη Χανααν.
