Then took Jeremiah another roll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah, who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire; and there were added besides unto them many like words.

Then Jeremiah took another book, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah, who put down in it, from the mouth of Jeremiah, all the words of the book which had been burned in the fire by Jehoiakim, king of Judah: and in addition a number of other words of the same sort.

Και ελαβεν ο Ιερεμιας αλλον τομον και εδωκεν αυτον εις τον Βαρουχ, τον υιον του Νηριου, τον γραμματεα, και εγραψεν εν αυτω εκ στοματος του Ιερεμιου παντας τους λογους του βιβλιου, το οποιον κατεκαυσεν εν πυρι Ιωακειμ ο βασιλευς του Ιουδα· και ετι προσετεθησαν εις αυτους πολλοι λογοι παρομοιοι.
