For thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, unto me: Take this cup of the wine of wrath at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it.

For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, has said to me: Take the cup of the wine of this wrath from my hand, and make all the nations to whom I send you take of it.

Διοτι ουτω λεγει προς εμε Κυριος ο Θεος του Ισραηλ, Λαβε το ποτηριον τουτο του οινου του θυμου μου εκ της χειρος μου και ποτισον εξ αυτου παντα τα εθνη, προς τα οποια εγω σε αποστελλω·

For thus saith the Lord God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it.

For Yahweh, the God of Israel, says to me: “Take this cup of the wine of wrath from my hand, and cause all the nations to whom I send you to drink it.
