now therefore swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son’s son: but according to the kindness that I have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me, and to the land wherein thou hast sojourned.

Now, then, give me your oath, in the name of God, that you will not be false to me or to my sons after me, but that as I have been good to you, so you will be to me and to this land where you have been living.

τωρα λοιπον ομοσον προς εμε εδω εις τον Θεον, οτι δεν θελεις ψευσθη προς εμε, ουτε προς τον υιον μου, ουτε προς τους εγγονους μου· αλλα κατα το ελεος, το οποιον εκαμα εις σε, θελεις καμει εις εμε, και εις την γην οπου παρωκησας.
