therefore, as I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: since thou hast not hated blood, therefore blood shall pursue thee.

For this cause, by my life, says the Lord, because you have been sinning through blood, blood will come after you.

δια τουτο, ζω εγω, λεγει Κυριος ο Θεος, θελω σε παραδωσει εις αιμα και αιμα θελει σε καταδιωκει· επειδη δεν εμισησας το αιμα, αιμα λοιπον θελει σε καταδιωκει·
