Thus saith the Lord Jehovah, Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness uncovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers; and because of all the idols of thy abominations, and for the blood of thy children, that thou didst give unto them;

This is what the Lord has said: Because your unclean behaviour was let loose and your body uncovered in your loose ways with your lovers and with your disgusting images, and for the blood of your children which you gave to them;

ουτω λεγει Κυριος ο Θεος· Επειδη εξεχεας τον χαλκον σου, και η γυμνωσις σου εξεσκεπασθη εν ταις πορνειαις σου προς τους εραστας σου και προς παντα τα ειδωλα των βδελυγματων σου, και δια το αιμα των τεκνων σου, τα οποια προσεφερες εις αυτα·
