Thus saith Jehovah: For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, yea, for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they may enlarge their border.

These are the words of the Lord: For three crimes of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not let its fate be changed; because in Gilead they had women with child cut open, so that they might make wider the limits of their land.

Ουτω λεγει Κυριος· Δια τας τρεις παραβασεις των υιων Αμμων και δια τας τεσσαρας δεν θελω αποστρεψει την τιμωριαν αυτου, διοτι διεσχιζον τας εγκυμονουσας της Γαλααδ, δια να πλατυνωσι το οριον αυτων·
