Οτε δε εμελλεν ο Ηρωδης να παραστηση αυτον, την νυκτα εκεινην ο Πετρος εκοιματο μεταξυ δυο στρατιωτων δεδεμενος με δυο αλυσεις, και φυλακες εμπροσθεν της θυρας εφυλαττον το δεσμωτηριον.
