And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times: then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it; whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.

Then the man of God was angry with him and said, If you had done it five or six times, then you would have overcome Aram completely; but now you will only overcome them three times.

Και ωργισθη εις αυτον ο ανθρωπος του Θεου και ειπεν, Επρεπε να παταξης πεντακις η εξακις· τοτε ηθελες παταξει τους Συριους εωσου συντελεσης αυτους· τωρα ομως τρις θελεις παταξει τους Συριους.
