And when all Israel saw that the king hearkened not unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to your tents, O Israel: now see to thine own house, David. So all Israel departed unto their tents.

And when all Israel saw that the king would give no attention to them, the people in answer said to the king, What part have we in David? what is our heritage in the son of Jesse? every man to your tents, O Israel; now see to your house, David. So all Israel went to their tents.

Και ιδων πας ο Ισραηλ οτι ο βασιλευς δεν εισηκουσεν εις αυτους, απεκριθη ο λαος προς τον βασιλεα, λεγων, Τι μερος εχομεν ημεις εις τον Δαβιδ; ουδεμιαν κληρονομιαν εχομεν εις τον υιον του Ιεσσαι· εις τας σκηνας σου εκαστος, Ισραηλ· προβλεψον τωρα, Δαβιδ, περι του οικου σου. Και ανεχωρησε πας ο Ισραηλ εις τας σκηνας αυτου.
