And they trespassed against the God of their fathers, and played the harlot after the gods of the peoples of the land, whom God destroyed before them.

And they did evil against the God of their fathers, worshipping the gods of the people of the land, whom God had put to destruction before them.

Και εσταθησαν παραβαται κατα του Θεου των πατερων αυτων και επορνευσαν κατοπιν των θεων των λαων της γης, τους οποιους ο Θεος ηφανισεν απ' εμπροσθεν αυτων.

And they transgressed against the God of their fathers, and went a whoring after the gods of the people of the land, whom God destroyed before them.
