Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with a perfect heart they offered willingly to Jehovah: and David the king also rejoiced with great joy.

Then the people were glad because their offerings were freely given, for with a true heart they freely gave what they had to the Lord; and David the king was full of joy.

Εχαρη δε ο λαος, διοτι επροθυμηθησαν, επειδη με πληρη καρδιαν προσεφεραν αυτοπροαιρετως εις τον Κυριον· και ο βασιλευς Δαβιδ ετι εχαρη χαραν μεγαλην.
