Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance.

Then Boaz said, On the day when you take this field, you will have to take with it Ruth, the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, so that you may keep the name of the dead living in his heritage.

Και ειπεν ο Βοοζ, Καθ' ην ημεραν αγορασης τον αγρον εκ της χειρος της Ναομι, πρεπει να λαβης και την Ρουθ την Μωαβιτιν, γυναικα του αποθανοντος, δια να αναστησης το ονομα του αποθανοντος επι της κληρονομιας αυτου.
