And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his showing unto Israel.

And the child became tall, and strong in spirit; and he was living in the waste land till the day when he came before the eyes of Israel.

Το δε παιδιον ηυξανε και εδυναμουτο κατα το πνευμα, και ητο εν ταις ερημοις εως της ημερας καθ' ην εμελλε να αναδειχθη προς τον Ισραηλ.
