And yet they hearkened not unto their judges; for they played the harlot after other gods, and bowed themselves down unto them: they turned aside quickly out of the way wherein their fathers walked, obeying the commandments of Jehovah; but they did not so.

But still they would not give ear to their judges, but went after other gods and gave them worship; quickly turning from the way in which their fathers had gone, keeping the orders of the Lord; but they did not do so.

Πλην ουδε εις τους κριτας αυτων υπηκουσαν, αλλ' επορνευσαν κατοπιν αλλων θεων και προσεκυνησαν αυτους· εξεκλιναν ταχεως απο της οδου, εις την οποιαν περιεπατησαν οι πατερες αυτων υπακουοντες εις τας εντολας του Κυριου· δεν εκαμον ουτω.
