and they forsook Jehovah, the God of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the peoples that were round about them, and bowed themselves down unto them: and they provoked Jehovah to anger.

And they gave up the Lord, the God of their fathers, who had taken them out of the land of Egypt, and went after other gods, the gods of the peoples round about them, worshipping them and moving the Lord to wrath.

και εγκατελιπον Κυριον τον Θεον των πατερων αυτων, τον εξαγαγοντα αυτους εκ γης Αιγυπτου, και υπηγον κατοπιν αλλων θεων, εκ των θεων των λαων των περιξ αυτων, και προσεκυνησαν αυτους και παρωργισαν τον Κυριον.
