but he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing; for the child shall be a Nazirite unto God from the womb to the day of his death.

But he said to me, You are with child and will give birth to a son; and now do not take any wine or strong drink or let anything unclean be your food; for the child will be separate to God from his birth to the day of his death.

και ειπε προς εμε, Ιδου, θελεις συλλαβει και θελεις γεννησει υιον· τωρα λοιπον μη πιης οινον μηδε σικερα και μη φαγης μηδεν ακαθαρτον· διοτι το παιδιον θελει εισθαι Ναζηραιος εις τον Θεον, εκ κοιλιας μητρος αυτου εως της ημερας του θανατου αυτου.
