And Joshua sent them forth; and they went to the ambushment, and abode between Beth-el and Ai, on the west side of Ai: but Joshua lodged that night among the people.

So Joshua sent them out: and they took up a secret position between Beth-el and Ai, on the west side of Ai: but Joshua kept with the people that night.

Ο Ιησους λοιπον εξαπεστειλεν αυτους, και υπηγον εις ενεδραν και εκαθισαν μεταξυ Βαιθηλ και Γαι, προς το δυτικον μερος της Γαι· ο δε Ιησους εμεινε την νυκτα εκεινην εν τω μεσω του λαου.
