And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad called the altar Ed: For, said they, it is a witness between us that Jehovah is God.

And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad gave to that altar the name of Ed. For, they said, It is a witness between us that the Lord is God.

Και ωνομασαν οι υιοι Ρουβην και οι υιοι Γαδ το θυσιαστηριον Εδ· Διοτι, ειπαν, τουτο θελει εισθαι μαρτυριον αναμεσον ημων, οτι ο Κυριος ειναι ο Θεος.
