and Jehovah delivered it also, and the king thereof, into the hand of Israel; and he smote it with the edge of the sword, and all the souls that were therein; he left none remaining in it; and he did unto the king thereof as he had done unto the king of Jericho.

And again the Lord gave it and its king into the hands of Israel; and he put it and every person in it to the sword, till their destruction was complete; and he did to its king as he had done to the king of Jericho.

Και παρεδωκεν ο Κυριος και αυτην και τον βασιλεα αυτης εις την χειρα του Ισραηλ· και επαταξεν εν στοματι μαχαιρας αυτην και πασας τας ψυχας τας εν αυτη· δεν αφηκεν εν αυτη υπολοιπον· και εκαμεν εις τον βασιλεα αυτης, καθως εκαμεν εις τον βασιλεα της Ιεριχω.
