then Zedekiah the king sent, and fetched him: and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any word from Jehovah? And Jeremiah said, There is. He said also, Thou shalt be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.

Then King Zedekiah sent and got him out: and the king, questioning him secretly in his house, said, Is there any word from the Lord? And Jeremiah said, There is. Then he said, You will be given up into the hands of the king of Babylon.

τοτε απεστειλε Σεδεκιας ο βασιλευς και ελαβεν αυτον, και ηρωτησεν αυτον ο βασιλευς κρυφιως εν τη οικια αυτου και ειπεν, Ειναι λογος παρα Κυριου; Και ο Ιερεμιας ειπεν, ειναι· και ειπεν, εις την χειρα του βασιλεως της Βαβυλωνος θελεις παραδοθη.
