Therefore thus saith Jehovah concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah: He shall have none to sit upon the throne of David; and his dead body shall be cast out in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost.

For this reason the Lord has said of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, He will have no son to take his place on the seat of David: his dead body will be put out to undergo the heat of the day and the cold of the night.

Δια τουτο ουτω λεγει Κυριος περι του Ιωακειμ του βασιλεως του Ιουδα· δεν θελει εχει καθημενον επι του θρονου του Δαβιδ· και το πτωμα αυτου θελει εκριφθη την ημεραν εις το καυμα και την νυκτα εις τον παγετον·
