Therefore thus saith Jehovah concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land: By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

So this is what the Lord has said about the prophets who make use of my name, though I sent them not, and say, The sword and need of food will not be in this land: the sword and need of food will put an end to those prophets.

Δια τουτο ουτω λεγει Κυριος περι των προφητων των προφητευοντων εν τω ονοματι μου, ενω εγω δεν απεστειλα, αυτους αλλ' αυτοι λεγουσι, Μαχαιρα και πεινα δεν θελει εισθαι εν τω τοπω τουτω· εν μαχαιρα και εν πεινη θελουσι συντελεσθη οι προφηται εκεινοι.

Therefore thus saith the Lord concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

Therefore Yahweh says concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name, but I didn’t send them, yet they say, ‘Sword and famine will not be in this land.’ Those prophets will be consumed by sword and famine.
