Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Thou shalt drink of thy sister’s cup, which is deep and large; thou shalt be laughed to scorn and had in derision; it containeth much.

This is what the Lord has said: You will take a drink from your sister's cup, which is deep and wide: you will be laughed at and looked down on, more than you are able to undergo.

Ουτω λεγει Κυριος ο Θεος· Το ποτηριον της αδελφης σου θελεις πιει, το βαθυ και πλατυ· θελεις εισθαι γελως και παιγνιον· το ποτηριον τουτο χωρει πολυ.
